Excellent- I'm glad you solved your problem. As far as the 100 Hz. noise- I also had the same problem, and found out that it was my COMPUTER and a portable light which had a dimmer on it. I unplugged the light (turning it off didn't take care of the problem), and also made sure my computer was off- it solved the problem. Since these Ic's are not shielded, they are more susceptible to RFI/EMI and you have too make sure you don't have devices that emit these buggaboos near your equipment. Give it a shot and see if that helps. Good luck, and good listening!
