Depends on a few things, but before addressing the noise - is this going between preamp and amp? If so, you'll have to make sure a run that long will not cause any loading problems at the input of the amp. Amps with low input impedances and/or highly reactive input stages may not do well with a long unbalanced IC. Part of it depends on the electrical charactersitics of the cable.
Once you get past that, I think in general you'd probably be best making sure the IC has a well shielded design, and make sure the ICs have as few other cables near it as possible. And if any other cables interfere with the ICs, make sure they cross at right angles.
I have a 24' run of PAD Venustas to my amp (RCA inputs only), and with an uncluttered standalone route I have no problems. My amp also has a tube hybrid input stage, essentially resistive, with a >> 100 KOhm input impedance.
