Mundorf silver/gold wire as speaker cable?

I would like to upgrade speaker cable inside my amp. It connect from pcb to terminal posts. I have Mundorf solid wire. I think it is silver/gold wire with 1.77 mm diameter. Can I use this wire as speaker cable? Has anyone done that with good result?
