Dear Dr. Cruz,The height of the stand has more to do with controlling the midrange energy that is bounced off the floor in front of the speaker as it has with getting the tweeter to ear height.
The dispersion of the speaker is so even across a very wide angle +/- 75 degrees minus 6 or so dB horizontally and almost the same vertically, that a couple of inches in height will not affect the treble reproduction.
