Regarding bass output, they should be placed in a way that dipoles should be.
Otherwise You should be aware of the aging fact of the damping foam that surrounds the bass membrane.
This will be a repair fact that You should take into account.
But in any case these speakers will hold up to any high priced speaker out there today.
If You don't buy them someone else will. Because they know what they can do in comparison to anything else on the market. I guarantee You that!
