You can make some rough calculations. Production started in 1981 and ended in 1996, the year the company collapsed. Quad, in Ken Kessler's book, states the production of the 63 ended in 1999 when the 98 series was introduced. This is stretching things since the period between 1996-1998 was when they were retooling the speaker and restarting the production line for the 98 series, hence the 98 designation for the new speaker.
They produced a little over 36,000 ESL63 units during that time, an average of roughly 2,400-2,500 per year. My pair are serial numbers 2991 & 2996 so these were produced in 1982. This should give you a rough idea of when your units were produced based on the serial numbers.
