Two versions of an acetyl platter mat are available for the Technics SL1200. These mats are precision machined to exactly fit your Technics platter. Best of all it looks right on the table.
Acetyl has a similar impedence match to vinyl. The surface of the platter mat is machined to follow the slope of most modern recordings. This provides the flattest possible surface contact during playback.
The mat is available in black acetyl and a beige low static material.
I recommend using a record clamp if using this improved platter mat.
