Ukraine single-handedly reduced the russian nuclear force by a significant amount.
The superpowers spend years negotiating the nuclear agreements including the numbers of warheads, ICBM's, boomers and bombers.
Most people don't realize that the numbers of those Tu-95 and Tu-22 are limited by strategic arms agreement, this is not just some transport planes.
Imagine if Ukraine destroyed 40 russian ICBM silos... no, this is simply impossible.
But destroying 40 nuclear bombers has almost the same effect.
So in fact the US should send a Thank You! note to Kiev!
