Unfortunately she will need to learn this the hard way. Land Rovers are beautiful, comfortable, and oh so posh, but they are British. Under warranty chances are high that they spend a good deal of time at the dealer and the issues are typically listed as "software issues." If she buys one out of warranty the same "software issues" will be prevalent but no loaner to drive and a bill will follow. The Sirens of Land Rover will call your daughter to the shore only to by crashed upon the rocks, but riding around in one is a cool comfortable look and that is what sells them.
