Anyway, regarding U.S. obesity: There are a lot of healthy, fit, Americans, and we eat beef regularly. As with anything, moderation is key. I think if you look into the data a little further, you will find that the problem with obesity is not necessarily consumption of beef, but rather, excessive consumption of carbohydrates and sugar - snack foods, bread, alcohol, candy, ice cream, pasta, cookies, cake, etc.

In any case, the New York Democrat is just on another persecution crusade. Such people shouldn't have ever been elected.

The 2.4 million acres cited is less than the size of Sydney, AU. Yet somehow, it has become a focus of a New York political adversary.
