But I wasn't out to "pan" the film, on the contrary as I said initially, it's a good movie: 7/10* on the IMDB scale, (IMO of course).
But then I began to wonder what it was about a "good" movie that warranted a sack full of Academy Award nominations. Given the vibes around the movie I began to wonder whether its "diverse" actors and staff had a lot to do with it.
