How closely do you inspect your produce that you purchase from your grocery store or a farmer's market? There's bugs in there too. Commercial production is not as meticulous as you are with your own garden harvest. OTOH, they likely use pesticides (which I gather that you don't), but there are bugs in commercially-produced produce. There's dirt in there too. Ever break-down stalks of celery or bunches of leeks?
It's no big deal. I wouldn't want to eat a big bug (unless it's coated in chocolate), but commercially-produced produce is not insect-free.
