Most of those bugs (not the slugs) are mostly harmless unless in large numbers. The big green caterpillar may be from a swallowtail butterfly-can't tell without a pic. They like kale. The thing to do is to periodically check your garden, especially when you harvest. Most bugs are OK, but there are a few pests. Large caterpillars can be gently moved to another plant. Just keep an eye on things, some bugs are good for your garden.
