RE: Six power plants have failed in Texas

In a typical scenario, PMs are done to prevent 'random' failures. You PLAN to fix stuff before it breaks. If you have enough history AND properly written specifications, this WORKS.

Problems? Well......California, for example, is trying to get EVs on the road enmass. This means charging at night which means LESS opportunity to do necessary maintenance. And more change of the random, grid-screwing failure....
