The time of year (mid-May) isn't the issue. We're having a solid week of unseasonably hot weather. The issue is: Why can't 'they' figure out how to run a power grid?! It's not as if it was just invented last year!
I suspect that a big part of the problem is the phenomenal growth in some parts of the state, and 'they' can't build power plants fast enough. The same kind of thing is happening with our water supply. Where are all the new lakes and reservoirs?!
And whatever happened to all those "supply chain" problems?
