Peaceful is good. Here is a list of 35 peaceful fish. 3 spot and Pearl Gouramis could be a good choice for size. The Celestial Pearl Danio sure looks pretty. I don't think they were around back in the day. Dwarf gouramis are also very pretty. I've always liked Rams. There is a suggestion for the Bolivian ram for peacefulness. Pretty sure I had German rams which are not aggressive like the other aggressive fish but may be more aggressive that the Bolivan?? Worth looking into.
