I have friends that have "cut the cord", and I even looked into it a while back, but it just seemed like too much of a PITA, and (in many cases), not really any cheaper. Many of them have eventually come to discover that, as well. Instead of one big cable bill, they get "nickeled and dimed" every month for a dozen different streaming services.
I suppose that if you limit your viewing options, you could see some substantial savings, but if you're like the typical household, you'll be wanting (and paying for) additional packages/services--which add-up.
"And today is for sale and it's all you can afford. Buy your own admission. The whole things got you bored. Well the Lord chooses the good ones, and the bad ones use the Lord"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
