Like you, I miss the days when you could option the car out the way you wanted it. Want a sunroof but don't want leather seats to go with it? These days it's tough shitski.
I'm sure if the car makers could paint all cars one color, they'd do it.
And robots don't care what they build. Machines do most of the work, and all of the critical work.
They're cutting costs but I don't see where the savings is being passed along to the consumer.
