That ranking should have come with an asterisk. *Ranked only because the Big Ten and Pac 12 aren't playing.
Well, that was three weeks ago and Pitt isn't ranked anymore. Third straight loss yesterday, Notre Dame next week, FSU and Clemson still on the schedule and if the pattern holds, there's at least one more game somewhere on the schedule that they'll blow despite being favored.
It's amazing how many great NFL players came from a system so lousy with mediocrity, Nathan Peterman notwithstanding.
