Chris, I don't view you as an idiot. I'm pretty sure you can tell the difference between media like NYT/WAPO/CNN and, say, Murdoch publications. Or CNN vs. Fox. Here's a link to what one of your fave guys says (I like him too) about media's coverage of the Iraq war. I agree with him, the prelude and later justifications of the war published/broadcasted by MOST media - including NYT - was basically misinformation, if not complete bullshit which was not adequately vetted by editors at the NYT and other media.

I'm sure you know the NYT published at least one (probably more) mea culpa about its Iraq war coverage. IMO this admission of error is just one of the big differences between the NYT and other respected media and right wing propaganda machines that do NOT admit their bullshit. In fact, right wing media normally doubles down on their lies/misinformation a la Trump. But you feel no compulsion to post outta nowhere about that.
I'm not sure what other wars you think NYT was/is in favor of and what coverage of theirs is wrong/misleading. Maybe you can provide links I can read.
No media I'm aware of gets everything right. I don't read NYT or WAPO through rose colored glasses. Damn near every politician - including damn near every Democrat - got Iraq wrong. I sure as hell don't look at Democrats as if they are all angels who know and espouse "The Unvarnished Truth". But possibly unlike you I CAN tell the difference between politicians like Pelosi and McConnell, or media like NYT and the NY Post or CNN and Fox. To claim they are *equally* full of shit IMO defines false equivalency.
Nobody on this forum - including me - posts to claim the NYT exemplifies perfection in journalism. I think something is a tad on the strange side about your compulsion to *single out* NYT. You continually post to denigrate NYT even when it has zilch to do with the topic of an OP - just as you did in this thread.
I'm done. I'll come back and check out the video you posted. I shouldn't have contributed towards prolonging your diversion from the OP. Your anti-NYT post should/would have just died on the vine.
