Inmate Central, where civil and family-friendly discourse about off-audio topics (other than religion and politics) is welcome.

I'm waiting for your publication "Defending the Poor"...

...it already is a "cottage industry"--oh, wait, I got that confused with the state and federal government. If what you're doing, isn't working, then maybe you should try something else--oh, wait, that's the definition of insanity--repeating the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. I'll just take the check/hand-out/whatever.

If you can't afford to live there--then don't. If you know a ROOM will cost you $500/mo and you'll earn $15/hr, but you could live somewhere else and rent a cheap APARTMENT for $300/mo and you'll still make $15/hr AND groceries will be 30% cheaper--which do you pick? Or do I just fill-out the paperwork with my hand held-out?

There's a BIG difference between a social "safety-net" and "generational welfare"--a line that is clearly far to blurred to even be recognizable.

And don't confuse me with someone "born into money"--I wasn't. But I DID have a "family" and was taught "values"--including a "work-ethic". If you truly want to change your life-circumstances--you will.

Sorry--NO--it's NOT everyone else's fault...

"And today is for sale and it's all you can afford. Buy your own admission. The whole things got you bored. Well the Lord chooses the good ones, and the bad ones use the Lord"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
