That looks great. It's amazing how much more useful it is to have fewer walls. :)
Our project blended the kitchen and family room spaces (via fewer walls) for a much more open feel. Which also means that the Acoustats in the HT will enjoy a larger space that is closer to the "Golden Ratio" for dimensions. First pic was original with kitchen behind. To the right is a hallway that simply wastes space.
Second is rendering where you see the changes. Outside (left) wall was moved back about five feet and a massive brick fireplace was removed. It will now have an efficient direct vent gas unit. Magnepan MC1 surrounds will be placed (ok, poor video editing!). And the island was rendered without the granite tops. Blue squares are windows with remote control electronic tinting. Really too small for window treatments.
