These photos work for me.
The 'tire landscape' definitely has some mood. Those trees to the left are spooky. An empty black top hwy to the right, also spooky somehow. Ominous clouds overhead add a sense of something, something that may be not so good, that might be impending. Great capture.
The unfolding flower. Wow. It almost seems as this is a single still taken from a video where that flower opens out in only minutes. but that's just my sense of it. Nice lighting there.
I've seen photos like these before, but in books.
