That's a better design

than the one I bought, without doing any researching beforehand.

The additional handle on the back of your can offers you better ergonomics than mine, which only has a handle at the top.

The most important difference I can see is the shut-off valve on yours is at the tip of the spout, while mine is located at the base. So, the couple of times my spout slipped off the filler neck of my bike's gas tank, yes, the shut-off stopped the flow, but still allowed whatever gas was in the spout to pour all over the tank.

If I bought my gas can to use on my lawnmower's tank, 1.5 feet off the ground, I'd not have had the same complaints. But trying to hold this 5 gallon can up to chest height with one hand, while trying to turn the locking shut-off ring at the base of the spout with the other, while trying to maintain even downward pressure on the filler neck went beyond inconvenient, and caused me to spill gas all over my bike's tank a few times.

Since switching to a free flow spout, I've had no more problems with spillage, but the gas can is now un-vented so pouring can be slow. This whole topic got me curious, and a quick search showed me that I could buy and install a vent, but they seem to generally be sold in multiple quantities. I'm hoping I can find a single available at Tractor Supply.

Thanks for the video, E Man. Hope life is treating you well.
