IMHO this fruit is a manna from heaven if it isn't it really should be.

Sugar-apple or sweetsop is the fruit of Annona squamosa, the most widely grown species of Annona and a native of the tropical Americas and West Indies.

Make sure that it is completely ripe before opening the fruit for consumption. Eating it before its completed ripening stage can sometimes taste like a sugared oatmeal.
