First, I am opposed to the forcing of children in this way. I doubt those kids will ever have a childhood as I understand it!
I began performing serious music (including Bach) in 1960 at the age of nine, because having been prompted to try out, I passed an audition. Meeting the standards of the Royal School of Church Music, so as to sing in a Cathedral choir. I became a Leader in 1961.
I was not dragooned into it.
I've also never really bought the pop-culture thing of music videos, either. Because, way back when it began, I already knew that our visual cortex dominates our other affective systems. And the marketers have known this from the get go.
One of our more devastatingly apt Prime Ministers describes this as 'Colour and Movement' aka 'Bread and Circuses'. ? Paul Keating.
So, I don't let it dominate mine. In this case I listened to a group of cute kids who could barely play a piece of music I happen to really respect and love. Its composer happens to tower over most other composers.
Do please allow folks to have well established critical faculties.
Okay?
Warmest
