Sorry, lost me cool there.
Have not had enough energy to be as diligent a gardener, so the weeds have gotten away a bit.
Managed to hit them hard on Thursday. Thursday AM did a vigorous vacuuming up of the Canada Maple's leaves and some of the Birch leaves, most of which are still on their respective trees. 5 large black garbage bags of mulched up leaves, dampened, sealed up and left to rot down.
Then I was able to do a couple hours weed spraying with a - glyphosate & water - weed-killer solution. Spot spraying and using a sheet of cardboard to protect wanted plants.
Will need to repeat that and do a large area with a wide-area T-head off a RED watering can. Within 2-3 weeks I should have things back under control.
No, I don't hand-weed or use a fork, as that disturbs the mulch and soil, thus opening up more opportunities for the weeds.
It's a compromise.
