Sure looks to me that the danger lies in not taking it. There are some places where people get around 3 mg a day through drinking water and diet. Some people who are drugged with lithium carbonate take up to 1800 mg of LC a day. 1800mg x18.8% would be 338 mg of elemental lithium a day. Compare that the a high micro dose of 20 mg a day. T456
