Yesterday was the anniversary of the ATF attacking the Weavers in Ruby Ridge, as well as the day McVeigh decided on to get revenge for it years later.

Five days ago was when most people think they have to file their taxes by. That is only true if you owe them. But we got people lined up at the post offices who are getting a refund. If you get a refund you can wait as long as you want. Personally, back when I worked on the books I would insist on the W2 ASAP and file it ASAP. I had my refund in February. They are supposed to give you that W@ by January 31st. Most people just don't file right away.

You can actually wait up to three years, in which case they will usually pay you interest on the refund. But most people, understandably, want their money ASAP.

Kinda surprising they picked Hitler's birthday for national weed day. I am sure he would be against it, he was a non drinking, non smoking type. But I heard that towards the end of his career the doctors were pumping him up on drugs. I do not know if this was at his behest or not. There is no way to know.

So really, a question : Why 4/20 ? There are 365 days in the year, why pick that one ? I doubt even Google knows.
