Other Long-Distance riders have been killed during long rides.

I think the Trans Continental (Canadian) champion was killed under similar conditions.

I think some people simply Freak Out when they see an ADULT on a bicycle. Add in a few too many BEERS and you have carnage.

Drunk Drivers should be banished to some unihhabited island.
