Leica lens in anything but top-end glass is like saying your VW has a Porsche Engine.
Which is NOT to say those little point and shoots are NOT great picture takers. Used within the 'envelop', they produce terrific results.
Give me a couple minutes in Photoshop or Elements or any of a couple other decent photo editing programs and I'll make 'em Shine.
30+ years ago, when film was still King, my buddy had a walk-around Olympus XA, non-zoom, but a wonderful, functional feature set. This was a game-changer for me when I saw the crystal clear results and used it for a week.
All the current PS cameras, are to me, anyway, descendents of this original game-changer.
I'd kind of like to have one today. The clamshell design is perfect for pocket or ManBag.
