First I'm sorry to hear about your typical bullshit experience with modern corporate customer service. When did you become so naive? Read my reply to your first whine and learn. I just hung up one minute ago from Amazon and was talking to Akila. She was very nice. I told her I wanted to guess her accent and not to tell me. I have talked of my voice recognition gift hre before. Shoulda been a linguist like Noam Chomsky huh 51? : )Soooo near the end of the call I say your accent tells me you are from the Islands and its not strong enough to be Jamaican so I will guess Trinidad. Her answer :"Bingo"! Yes! Fist pump! I love all people and am the anti-xenophobe! Adore me! Worship me! OK just kidding. I'm giddy today.
But really for a few years now I have treated any customer service call as a chance to be the nicest person that they have talked to that day. It is its own reward. I asked Akila if she had seen the movie Akila and the bee to which she replied yes and I was in lots of spelling bees as a kid. How cool is that?
