Built a TV antenna with drop ceiling hanger wire for the elements attached to 2" PVC pipe. Took coax from the existing DTV dish on the house.
eBay seller in China sent an AMD microprocessor for an HP laptop packed poorly. 15 of the over 600 pins on the 1.5" square chip were bent, two broken. I sent him an email saying he didn't pack it properly. I told him to send new one. He responded with how about $5 refund.I paid 15 with ship.I told him no and sent him pics of the packing: a sheet of toilet paper then put in an unpadded antistatic bag and finally in a padded envelope the size of a folded dollar bill.Problem is it is the thinnest padded envelope I had ever seen. I put a pencil down flat and it was only half as high!
So I added that he had 72 hours to solve the issue or I would file a cae with eBay. Email today says he is sending new one.
First wheelchair related accident. I backed into an and table knocking over the heavy lamp into the wall which it scarred and the lamp parts needed t be rebent. It's OK, the rel casualty occurred when I backed up and ran over my tablet which I forgot was on that table. Screen toast, not worth repairing. Stripped for parts. Oh well.
