Here in California we have LOTS of Spanish names which sound real neat until you TransLate them.
Even Florida has Boca Raton (Rats Mouth)
while here in CA we have the likes of El Cajon (the box?) and Gaviota Bay (seagull bay) while my favorite is Los Banos (the bathrooms)
Of course, I'm just down the road from Escondido (hidden? Lost?) and down in Baja is my personal favorite, Salsipuedes. (leave if you can) a real nice place to stay away from.

There are many others, but you get the drift.
