I've used the sealer linked below on tiled countertops with very good results. As the tiles were rough-faced (rather than glazed), I just spread it around with a paint brush. Doesn't change the color and/or shine after it dries which is exactly what I wanted for that application. For your shower, it's a thin enough consistency you could buy a cheap pump sprayer and apply it that way. Pretty strong smell to it while applying, so take that into consideration if ventilation is limited. A bit expensive too, but I (personally) don't mind spending more for good quality if it means I don't have to do it again for a long time. :)
