More car manufacturers are moving production to various countries.
For example, BMW 3-Series that I have owned were always made in Germany. Our BMW X5 and X3 SUVs from a few years ago were made in the USA (South Carolina). My VW's from many years ago were made in Germany. Our Toyotas were made in Japan.
BMW is building a 3-Series manufacturing plant in Mexico to go into production in 2019. I believe Audi is also setting up shop in Mexico. I think some Volvo are made in China.
Regardless of brand, does the country where your car is manufactured have any influence on your purchasing decision? Maybe not P.C. but it does for me. How about you?
Your thoughts?
