Called Heaven on 7. Calls for pickled pork (takes days to make) Tasso ham (hard to find). It's amazing. Haven't made it in awhile.

My other favorite ham bone recipe is 13 bean soup. Use Bob's Red Mill beans, ham bone, smoked sausage and Better than Boullion Ham base. Excellent, just unbelievable post Christmas meal with cheap Jiffy corn bread!

Health reasons preclude me from eating those things anymore. Hopefully by next Christmas I'll be able to enjoy a bowl again.
