Would you welcome a return to the late '60s or early '70s air quality? Today's cars are available with more power than ever, and very low in emissions.
Early emissions controls were bad, but they were a work in progress and improved to the point where removing anything would be pointless without extensive modifications and significant losses in drivability.
The EPA is finally getting serious with motorcycles and outboard motors, and it's about time.
