I keep a change bucket in my closet that the family tosses coins into and then we cash in every two or three years. Usually its $500 + by the time we get around to it.
Since banks (at least none of mine) will take coins that are not rolled, I have my kids roll all of the quarters and dimes and then we use Coinstar for the rest.
I just don't see the sense in rolling $100 worth of pennies and nickels. Hours of work to save ten-bucks. No thank you.
