A friend of mine had an 80CC Suzuki (looked something like this one, but I can't find an exact picture), and as kids we used to tear all over the place on our bikes! It pissed me off that he could always outrun me, so I took the 3 HP B&G off my Rupp, replaced it with a 5 HP, and changed the rear sprocket. He could still outrun me, but at least I could make a race out of it...When he crashed it and bent the front forks I bought the motor from him and mounted it on my go-cart. No clutch, just "bang" it into gear (and always started-out on dirt or grass). I never got it out of third- I think I was doing about 45 MPH by that time (about 3" above the road!), and it scared the hell outta me! Sold it to a kid down the street, and they moved that same summer.
Good times!
