that frozen custard is more like whipped ice cream. It lacks a lot of the air that DQ has, hence the lower melting point. Ah, the delights of nutritionally unnecessary foodstuffs. Why can't beets have the same appeal? It must speak of the corrupting influence of civilization on humans. Would cavemen, er . . . cave persons, have picked a large dish of frozen custard over a bucket of elderberries?
