I outdid myself today and made fish tacos (the salsa couldn't possibly go better) and grilled corn salad (served at Ribfest). Plenty left over for yet another fine meal!

I found myself wandering around on the web today looking up places for frozen custard, since I'm vising a customer in Milwaukee next week and he offered to take me to Leon's, an old time establishment up there that supposedly was some of the inspiration behind the Happy Days TV show. Have enjoyed Oscar's and Kopp's, two of the best in the Milwaukee area yet Leon's is said to be at least as good. Anyway, I got a hankering for some and just drove 12 miles to Greg's in Mundelein, a nice drive-up place that was well worth the trip...best I've had in Illinois thus far.

You can check out Leon's and Greg's, among many others, on the website linked below. I didn't notice if they list Ted Drews in St. Louis, another famous spot for frozen custard.
