I can see the other "segmentation" side of this. On the other hand, I see plenty of posts with subject lines like "Speaker wire" that never get answered (and that's often the best outcome).This would require a moderator and some regulars willing to help out. Those high and mighty types, who I assume were born with their wealth of audio wisdom, could just stay away.
Then again, it could actually draw the flame throwers. See, both sides...
