Find a 7day timer and you can wake up to music that is - clear / 'loud' enough to be heard', but not so LOUD as to wake up you / wife with a jolt.

mine's now a reserve HT system, Denon 55wpc thing well (hmmm Subs in the bed-base I reckon).

And my Yammme R3 in the HT system has it too! And, I've added pre-in/outs - so it 'will' be the inline 2CH pre amp, soon.

AND LBNL - Iffens yez takes off the lid of the rcvr and spray into the pot for Var.Loud it will clean up. mine did.

I have TWO SS rcvrs with that facility. Denon and Yamaha are the only ones I know of that gave this feature.
