My sister lost three before she finally had her son. Turns out she had a genetic abnormality that interfered with her uptake of folic acid. She started taking megadoses of it and her next pregnancy was successful. She says that when she held her newborn son in her arms the joy she felt far exceeded the sadness she felt when she lost the ones before. Here's hoping that this joy is in your not too distant future.
