You mean to imply that you have not yet removed a section of (vibration-prone) wooden flooring and replaced it with a concrete base on which to mount your sensitive components?... Heaven forfend!!!....
Seriously though, I remain surprised at the benefits that can be coaxed from tweaks/fairly basic modifications to a wide range of decent quality audio components, and not just obviously vibration-prone TTs...
Bearing in mind the forthcoming arrival of twins and the potential for inadvertent catastrophic damage to prized and vulnerable audio components by toddlers (and with very mobile twins it could be hard to be sure that you could keep effective tabs on both of them simultaneously!), I assume that you have plans to lock the listening-room when you are not "in situ", listening to the music...
Whilst you should never be reduced to listening to iPod- or PC-based music, you may indeed find that some compromises will have to be made for music delivered in multi-use areas around the house until the brains of the kiddies catch up with their energy levels, and the risk of damage to your audio components is lessened as a result...
