I have seen Transporter 1 and it is a decent action flick.
As you say, not a cinematic classic, but an entertaining
action flick nonetheless. I enjoy martial arts fighting
flicks with the likes of Jackie Chan and Steven Segal.
I especially like Segal's Above the Law. I love the
passive fighting technique he uses in most of his films.
He allows his advisary to be the aggressor and then
makes them regret their actions.
