We watched 2 interesting movies this weekend..

The 1st was Invincible which stars Mark Wahlberg as the bartender/
school teacher Vince Papale who makes the Philadelphia Eagles
US Football team. I remember when this really happened back in the
'70s. We really enjoyed the movie and I must admit it was refreshing
to watch a sports type movie without all of the bad language especially
when you have young ones in the house. I guess that
is one advantage to a Disney movie huh?? It was funny though,
I keep thinking to myself, these guys definitely did NOT talk
like this in real life. I would be curious to see how people
who grew up in Philly in the '70s felt about the movie??

The 2nd was the new Bond flick Casino Royale. I had read different
reviews of this movie. Some liked it and some didn't. I must admit
I liked it as well as the changes in the Bond character.
The stunts were awesome, but I kept thinking was watching a Jackie
Chan movie. It did get a little long at the end and the ending was
a little fuzzy(confusing), but all in all I liked the new Bond
character. I always preferred Sean Connery the most but I must
admit I like Daniel Craig much better than Pierce Brosnan or
Timothy Dalton. I saw where Daniel Craig has signed up to
do another Bond picture in 2008. It should be interesting..
