But I'm a little warped so what do I know....Regarding the water savings, I don't know that they will ever pay for themselves in straight volume-of-water-used terms, but I have noticed this already- normally our water softener runs after 4 or 5 loads of laundry and a shower or two. Today? Six loads of laundry, two showers, one load of dishes, and no water softener cycle (less softener salt used). Couple that with the electrical usage savings we (allegedly) will receive and we may save enough $$$ over 20 years to offset the purchase price.
I would run some numbers but I've already been accused of liking Excel just a little too much (right, DE?)
:)
