I feel it is important, as here, to celebrate the attachment our animals can have to us!!! As well.

And, to remember that especially with mammals how CLOSE they are to US, on the needs, development, and feelings continuum. Maternal? tick, Social? tick, Learning? tick, etc etc etc

They're our cousins!
